Dr. Wright is in charge of surgery in the Shantung Christian University in China. His little book is a part of a series published by the Dutton Company. It is a brief statement on the cancer situation, offering the view that the only hope for control of this disease lies in proper education of the public. Dr. Wright has obviously been out of touch not only with research on cancer but also with public health education, so that his book seems to lack proper perspective. Such advice as he gives is accurate, but the presentation is not attractive.
