Streaks of blue above the treetops
and brightening white clouds
beneath the heavier still windless grays
in this tilt to longer light already under way
together with a shift of knowing
stirred as endless color
in this window patch of sky.
And in my lungs a space of knowing named at last,
which like the changed sky, forever changing,
subtle as the light of so much more to know remaining.
