Abstract

To the Editor:  —A significant and timely editorial is that in The Journal, September 25, on "Relative Development of Uterus and Ovaries." As you intimate, the "sociological implications" are most important. For years, John Fiske's contribution to biology and sociology has impressed me. Both the medical profession and society at large should be giving heed to it—i. e., "The period of infancy of the human race is twenty-one years."
