Abstract

CONFERENCE ON PERIODIC HEALTH EXAMINATIONS OF APPARENTLY HEALTHY PERSONS  In accordance with the action of the House of Delegates at the Dallas session of the Association, arrangements have been made for another conference on the subject of "Periodic Health Examinations of Apparently Healthy Persons," to be held Saturday morning, November 20, at 9 o'clock, in the House of Delegates assembly room at the American Medical Association headquarters, Chicago. This conference is held in connection with the annual Conference of Secretaries of the State Medical Societies.Dr. Robert M. Schauffler, president of the Kansas City Health Association, will speak on "Educating the Physician for Public Health Speaking and for Periodic Health Examinations."Dr. W. S. Leathers of the department of preventive medicine of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., will speak on "The Education of the Undergraduate Medical Student in the Matter of Periodic Health Examinations."The secretaries of the state medical societies
