This edition is thoroughly revised and is highly recommended for both the student and the practitioner. The chapter on nephrogenous heart disease and goiter heart is well written, as are discussions of other forms of heart disturbance. The book is well illustrated; the laboratory technic is simple and clear. This volume remains one of the standards and classics of physical diagnosis, written with the clarity that characterizes all of Cabot's writings.
