To the Editor In the Viewpoint by Mr Haeder and colleagues,1 the authors emphasized the potential that narrow networks have to provide better patient care and lower associated costs. In addition, they drew attention to the fact that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) contains provisions to ensure that physician and hospital networks are “adequately broad to guarantee access to health care services.”
