New sections have been added on many subjects in which particularly therapy has advanced; moreover, therapeutics has been expanded to include also prophylaxis, general treatment and psychotherapy. As the volume is now made up, its pages include more than 1,200 devoted to therapeutics and the remaining 170 to laboratory technics, dosages, materia medica, and a considerable amount of miscellaneous tabular data and similar information.
