The book deals with general microbiology, 228 pages; laboratory exercises in microbiology, 20 pages, and elements of pathology, 106 pages. The presentation is clear and simple. The information impresses one as well selected and it is reliable. The length of the different parts is well adjusted to the time available in the standard courses for nurses. The book, which is the outcome of the author's experience in teaching nurses, will be a valuable help to student nurses and a good guide for instructors of nurses in microbiology and pathology.
