Society News.—  At a meeting of the Sixth Councilor District Medical Society in Hope, September 11, speakers were Drs. Philip M. McNeill, Oklahoma City, on complications and treatment of pneumonia; Davis W. Goldstein, Fort Smith, common skin diseases; Willis C. Campbell, Memphis, osteomyelitis; Millington Smith and Joseph W. Kelso, Oklahoma City, cancer of the cervix, and Samuel E. Thompson, Kerrville, Texas, diagnostic problems in diseases of the lungs.— The Mississippi County Medical Society was addressed at Blytheville, August 7, by Drs. Lorenzo D. Massey, Osceola, on "Use of Sodium Thiocyanate in Dysentery"; Percy H. Wood, Memphis, Tenn., "Practical Points in Gynecological Treatment," and Thomas D. Moore, Memphis, Tenn., "The Obstructing Prostate."—Speakers before the Tri-County Clinical Society in Arkadelphia, July 26, included Drs. Solomon F. Hoge on early syphilis; Paul L. Mahoney, differential diagnosis between otitis media and external ear infection; Francis W. Carruthers, fractures, and J. O. Hall, D.D.S.,
