The Present Status of Postgraduate Work in Vienna  The University of Vienna and its medical part, the Medizinische Fakultät, have always paid special attention to the problem of postgraduate instruction of medical men, and foreign physicians are always most welcome. At present, two corporations have been recognized as entitled to arrange such classes in this city, and every medical man desiring to do scientific work or to obtain instruction in Vienna in a methodical way should make use of the facilities thus offered to him. There are two kinds of courses, or classes: those in German for students of all nations, and those in English, as a rule presented only by English speaking physicians and arranged exclusively by the American Medical Association of Vienna (VIII Alserstrasse 9).
