This book is planned primarily for British readers. It is divided into two parts, one dealing with legal medicine and the other with toxicology. Because of the small type used and the condensation of the material, the book is the most complete one-volume work in this field. It contains numerous case reports, tabulated data and a vast amount of evidence to support the author's instruction. The numerous editions and constant improvements make it one of the most useful volumes available in this field.
