The author was associated with the late Dr. Robert W. Lovett for eighteen years, in charge of muscle training work. Much of Lovett's writings in the field of infantile paralysis and scoliosis were based on her work. She presents in this book a scientific discussion, giving much credit to Beevor's Croonian Lectures on Muscular Movements. It is an excellent exposition of the subject which should be read and followed by every one interested in medical gymnastics, infantile paralysis and scoliosis. It should be of great value to the neurologist and the orthopedic surgeon.
