Abstract

The author enumerates in readable style the elements that make for a wholesome atmosphere of service in any hospital. In a number of short chapters the nurse, the physician, the public, and all other parties concerned with hospital service are reminded of their duty from the point of view of the patient's best interests. The book is rather well named. Any person connected with a hospital should profit by reading it.
