The aim of this booklet is to provide an introduction to the subject of biologic oxidation-reduction potentials. The volume is intended to be and is as simple as the nature of the material allows. However, readers without a knowledge of physical chemistry and in addition some knowledge of calculus cannot grasp the subject. For any one about to do research in this important field, it should be valuable. The bibliography adds to the value of the book.
