The book is an excellent review of the subject, with particular reference to the underlying physiologic disturbances and the technic of arriving at a diagnosis. The work is written entirely from the standpoint of a physician without apparently very much personal experience from the evaluation of surgical procedures. A valuable part of the monograph is the extensive bibliography which follows each chapter. The book is generally well set up and is recommended to all students of vascular diseases.
