To the Editor:—
Dr. H. Sheridan Baketel of Reed & Carnrick points out to me that the manner in which the table accompanying my article on the Clinical Use of Ovarian Extracts appearing in the May 6th issue puts one of its preparations in an unfavorable light. It implies that "Estrogenic Substances, R. & C." are made up as vaginal suppositories. Actually, this preparation is used only for oral and parenteral administration.I am sorry that this error was made, and if it is possible for you to insert a short erratum making this correction it would be appreciated both by the firm concerned and by me.
