The remarks of Brig. Gen. James S. Simmons, Dr. Lewis H. Weed and other medical authorities under "Importance of Postwar Research Stressed" in the Washington Letter (The Journal, Dec. 23, 1944, p. 1093) should have been assigned to testimony before the Senate Committee on Wartime Health and Education rather than to the Kelley subcommittee.
