In the abstract of the article by Verzàr and Laszt (Nature138:844 [Nov. 14] 1936) in The Journal, January 23, page 338, "acriflavine hydrochloride" should read "riboflavin" (or "lactoflavine"), and "acriflavine phosphoric acid" should read "riboflavin phosphoric acid." This error arose through the use by the authors of the term "flavin," which word, spelled with a final e, has long been represented in medical literature as a synonym for the antiseptic acriflavine.
