District Meeting.—  The Fifth District Medical Society was addressed in Camden October 16 by:Capt. Horace R. Sanders, Memphis, Tenn., The Diagnosis and Management of Obstructive Lesions of the Colon.Vice Admiral Ross T. McIntire (MC), Medical Research in War and Peace.At an evening public session the speakers included Governor Ben T. Laney, Arkansas, and Dr. McIntire on "War Medicine and Its Future Impact."


County Society Considers New Home.—  Members of the San Francisco County Medical Society will soon vote on the disposition of its headquarters at 2180 Washington Street, San Francisco, and the consideration of a new home. The bulletin of the society for October discusses the various aspects of the project which will be presented to the membership for vote.
