It was erroneously stated in "Poisoning With Barbituric Acid Derivatives" (Queries and Minor Notes, The Journal, March 13, 1937, p. 908) that metrazol is a soluble camphor derivative. Metrazol is a synthetic, organic chemical compound; namely, pentamethylentetrazol.
