Dr. Dominici states in his preface that he has utilized the data included in the two extensive reviews on the subject of pericystitis which have appeared in the last twenty-five years: one by d'Aversenq in 1913 and the other by Paul Delbet in 1921; he has also added the many contributions in the literature, bringing it to date, and has included certain material which may have escaped the notice of the two authors cited. The volume is well printed and presents the subject in an orderly and comprehensive manner. It is remarkable for the excellence and clarity of the illustrations, many of which are original. Dominici's work is an important contribution to the literature on pericystitis chiefly on account of its completeness. The bibliography and extensive case reports culled from the literature permit ready reference to the various categories in which the author has divided his subject. Reference to
