This volume contains the six lectures delivered by the author at the Institute of the History of Medicine in Johns Hopkins University. The writings of Sir D'Arcy in the field of medical history are numerous and invariably interesting. The present series includes an account of St. Bartholomew's Hospital; also some studies of biography, bibliography and iconography. The final essay is entitled Aristotle's Masterpiece.
