Abstract

This volume summarizes the investigations assisted or supported by the foundation during 1937. It is especially interesting to those who are concerned with cancer research. Progress of each piece of work is described in full and the publications based on such work which appeared during 1937 are listed. The table of contents indicates the senior member of the research group receiving the financial help of the foundation. Financial statements indicate that the organization paid grants of more than $400,000 during 1937. The individual problems studied by the various workers cover all aspects of cancer research and are too numerous to mention even in general classifications. The funds of the organization are not used for buildings or equipment, but the foundation can accept gifts or contributions for such expenses.
