Abstract

Within the recent past, several monographs have been written on the relief pattern of the gastro-intestinal tract in normal and pathologic states. Seemingly these works have arisen as the result of the fundamental studies of Forssell. The monograph of Henri Chaoul and Albert Adam is rich in illustrations and discussion concerning the relief pattern of the mucosa of the gastro-intestinal canal. In addition, the authors have utilized a specially designed compression bulb, which is easily manipulated during the roentgen studies.
