The book is intended as a textbook for veterinary students and a reference for veterinarians. Equine, bovine, canine, and ovine organ systems are described in considerable detail, with emphasis on comparative anatomy. A short section is devoted to the anatomy of the chicken. The text has numerous illustrations, excellently reproduced and clearly labeled.
