Abstract

CALIFORNIA 

Pediatric Clinic Established.—  A pediatric clinic that was recently added to the services of St. Francis Memorial Hospital, San Francisco, will be open every Tuesday at 10 a. m. Under the supervision of the pediatrics committee of the hospital, with Dr. John M. Rector as chairman, the clinic will be in charge of a resident physician. Members of the committee will act as consultants on a rotating basis for two-month periods. A prerequisite for admission to the clinic will be (1) referral by a member of the medical staff or (2) being a child of an obstetric clinic mother. The charge per clinic visit will be $1. Charges for hospitalization will vary with the individual patient after consultation between the referring physician, the clinic consultant, and the hospital administration. Appointments may be made by calling the pediatrics clinic.
