The editorial comment on "Dissolution of Substance of Teeth by Lemon Juice" in the March 19 issue of The Journal is of great interest. However, it should be noted that this observation was first made by S. C. Miller of New York University College of Dentistry in 1935 and commented on in an editorial in Dental Items of Interest in October 1935.
