Symposium on Endocrine Diseases and Geriatrics.—
A symposium will be held Oct. 22 to 24 in the University of California Extension Building, 540 Powell St., San Francisco, that will present a review of recent developments in endocrinology and geriatrics with suggestions for the management of patients past the age of 50. The University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, in cooperation with the Orthopaedic Hospital and the Rancho Los Amigos Respiratory Center, is offering a four week postgraduate course (Oct. 25 to Nov. 19) in the application of occupational therapy techniques to the treatment of poliomyelitis.
