This new edition of a small compilation presents what the author considers the important features of office care of patients with gynecological problems. Limitations of space prevent the author from much consideration of background material and alternative opinion. Treatment that cannot be applied in the office is given only passing mention, and some diagnostic procedures are described in too little detail. Several authorities in special fields have contributed useful chapters. The book, designed for the general practitioner, serves a valuable purpose and is perhaps the best of such presentations. It is well printed and contains a number of helpful illustrations. It is to be highly recommended within the limits of its purpose.
