Abstract

ARMY 

MEETING OF CONSULTANTS  The Advisory Council of the Society of United States Medical Consultants in World War II met in the Surgeon General's Office May 8 to discuss future planning related to medical department personnel, revision of tables of organization, a new system of unit mobilization, problems of training and education and plans for medical reserve officers. Among those present were: Drs. Frank B. Berry, president; Henry M. Thomas Jr.; M. Ralph Kaufman; Alfred R. Shands Jr.; M. Barnes Woodhall; Donald M. Pillsbury; Yale Kneeland Jr.; Walter Bauer; Perrin H. Long; Ivan C. Berlien; I. Ridgeway Trimble; Francis R. Dieuaide; I. S. Ravdin; Harold A. Sofield; John V. Ambler, and Henry W. Brosin.
