Abstract

This is the newest dictionary on the American scene. A great number of scholars cooperated in its development and it has already had a considerable success. In the field of medicine and related fields, such as psychology and therapeutics, a considerable number of New York physicians have been helpful. The book is more modern than any other similar book. It includes considerable information not available in other dictionaries, such as rules for punctuation, proofreader's marks and notes on footnotes and bibliography.
