MICHIGAN STATE SOCIETY HONORS LOS ANGELES COUNTY ASSOCIATION  The Los Angeles County Medical Association has been honored by the Michigan State Medical Society for pioneering in the medical television field with the show, "Medic." On behalf of the association, Dr. Ewing L. Turner, association president, accepted the Michigan plaque at ceremonies in the Los Angeles County Medical Association Headquarters from Mr. Hugh W. Brenneman, public relations counsel of the Michigan State Medical Society. The plaque cited the association for its sponsorship of and technical assistance to the highly successful television show and commended it for "ourstanding service to both the American public and the medical profession."
