This book has been extensively revised and enlarged to give a fuller understanding of the many social, economic, professional and other factors that are directly related to the nursing field. First, there is an introductory section describing the technic of collecting, evaluating and organizing source material essential in the study of nursing problems and methods of professional readjustment. In unit 1, the Social and Professional Outlook of the Graduate Nurse, the discussion centers on nursing as a profession, recent advances and current problems that may affect the future of nursing.
