Abstract

RESOLUTIONS TO BE PRESENTED TO HOUSE OF DELEGATES  The Secretary of the Association has been informed that the following resolutions will be submitted to the House of Delegates at the Chicago Session in June by a delegate of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia.

RESOLUTION ON CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE  Whereas, It is the duty of every physician to discharge all the responsibilities of citizenship including those of a political nature; andWhereas, It is not the function of his professional medical organization to participate in partisan politics; therefore be itResolved, By this House of Delegates that The American Medical Association does not support any political party or any candidate for elective public office.
