Abstract

This book presents a broad introductory survey of the field of organic evolution. Although designed primarily for college students, it should be of interest to anyone wishing to review the current concepts concerning the process of evolution. The text is clearly written and amply illustrated and contains a good index. There are selected references at the end of each chapter.
