Abstract

To the Editor:—  May I, as honorary chairman of the selection committee for the Eli Lilly Medical Research Fellowship (South Africa), draw the attention of medical practitioners registered in South Africa, who may at present be in the United States, to the fact that applications may be submitted for the 1957 award of this fellowship. The fellowship is for the purpose of medical research and is not intended for postgraduate clinical study. The net value of the fellowship is $300 a month for 12 months, plus return traveling expenses to the point of study in the United States of America. Further details can be obtained from the undersigned. The closing date for applications is April 30, 1957.
