Abstract

OFFICE OF DEFENSE MOBILIZATION 

Additions to Health Resources Advisory Committee.—  Appointment of three additional members to the Health Resources Advisory Committee was announced March 27 by John S. Patterson, acting director of the Office of Defense Mobilization. The new committee members are Leo H. Bartemeier, M.D., Baltimore, Md., medical director, Seton Institute, Baltimore; John Z. Bowers, M.D., Madison, Wis., dean, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine; and George M. Fister, M.D., Ogden, Utah, private practice, regent, University of Utah. The committee, composed of leaders in the health professions from outside the government, advises the Office of Defense Mobilization director on health matters relating to defense mobilization programs. Chairman of the committee is Dr. Elmer Hess, Erie, Pa.
