C.Dear Chairman Mills:The American Medical Association has been advised that the Ways and Means Committee has scheduled hearings next week concerning a possible general revision of the Internal Revenue Code. Inasmuch as our Association is interested in a number of the subjects in this field which you are going to discuss, I am submitting this statement with the request that it be included in the printed record of the hearings.We readily appreciate the scope of the task which you have undertaken. In our opinion, some of the revisions of the Code which have been adopted in the past have created more inequities than they have remedied and have so complicated our system of income
