Abstract

THE Annual Meeting of the American Medical Association in Miami Beach, Fla., June 13 through 17, will present to physicians many new features and trends in medicine for the first time. It is especially appropriate that these new presentations be made at Miami Beach, since this is the A. M. A.'s first Annual Meeting in the state of Florida.

The air-conditioned Miami Beach Auditorium and Exhibition Hall will house more than 290 scientific exhibits as well as outstanding scientific lecture programs to be presented by the Section on General Surgery and the Section on Obstetrics and Gynecology. Color television, which will originate at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, will bring a full week's program, featuring some of the outstanding topics of the day, to the stage of the Auditorium.

A selected group of motion pictures, featuring five première films, will be presented in the Exhibition Hall. This program
