A fortnight from now, May Day will be celebrated in a number of countries throughout the world. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics can be expected to parade selected examples of new weapons to awe the outsider. May 1 in West Germany will be an enlightened Labor Day for a prosperous, thriving, industrial people. May Day heralds the blossoming of spring flowers in northern United States, while specifically in Atlantic City, May 1, 1960, is the first of several days when medical research is supreme.
The American Federation for Clinical Research will be in the spotlight the first day. The Federation, once identified as "The Young Men's Christian Society" in honor of its founder Henry Christian (better known now as the Young, Young Turks), will sponsor six programs on as many special areas of research interest, running concurrently.
The Federation has an inclusive membership policy. To be an Active Member,
