Reunion.—  The annual reunion dinner of the World War II Alumni of the U. S. Naval Hospital, Brooklyn, N. Y., will be held at the Commissioned Officers' Mess of the U. S. Naval Shipyard, Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn 1, on Thursday evening April 20 at 6 P.M. All medical officers who served at medical facilities in the Third Naval District are invited to attend. Personal.—  Dr. James H. Matthews, assistant chief of the pulmonary disease service at the Oteen, N. C., Veterans Administration hospital, was appointed chief of VA clinical research in pulmonary diseases at the Central Office in Washington, D. C. He also will coordinate the VA—Armed Forces cooperative studies in pulmonary diseases. Dr. Matthews succeeds Dr. James W. Raleigh, who left the VA to become medical director of the
