In this issue of The Journal, p. 202, the first X-Ray Seminar is presented. Subsequent seminars will appear at regular intervals. The program is planned so that basic concepts of radiology will be explored and the diagnostic interpretations substantiated. The establishment of such a section in The Journal was suggested by Dr. Laurence L. Robbins, Chief of the Department of Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, successor to George W. Holmes and Aubrey O. Hampton. This is the second in the series of a planned program of postgraduate education, which hopefully will contribute to undergraduate education as well. The Fracture of the Month was the initial venture. The third exercise, scheduled for later this year, will embrace selected items in dermatology. Other exercises are being explored.
