Russian Medical Research.—  A critical analysis of Russian medical research was made recently by N. N. Blokhin, President of the Soviet Academy of Medical Sciences. A translation of Blokhin's address and of the other addresses or papers delivered at the Academy's 15th General Session is available from the Office of Technical Services, U. S. Department of Commerce, Washington 25, D.C. The title is "Fifteenth General Session (1961) of the Academy of Medical Sciences USSR," September, 1961; 131 pages; Order OTS 61-3162; price $2.75.


Personnel Change.—  Dr. Arthur S. Cain, formerly special assistant to the executive director of the Association of American Medical Colleges, Evanston, Ill., joined the Veterans Administration as Chief of Educational Research in the Department of Medicine and Surgery. He will test the new means of conducting medical education.
