Abstract

DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE 

Radioisotopes.—  A review of 5 years' experience in the application of radioisotopes for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes at the Soviet Union's Central Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians has been translated into English. The 2-section compilation of 20 papers is available through the Office of Technical Services, Business and Defense Services Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, Washington 25, D.C., under the title "The Use of Radioisotopes in Clinical and Experimental Investigations, 1958"; Order 60-51178; price $2.25.

PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE 

New Appointments.—  Dr. W. Clark Cooper was named Deputy Chief of the Division of Occupational Health.
