To the Editor:—
In regard to Dr. Goar's inquiry concerning "burning" soles (199:442, 1967), I would like to suggest another and, in my experience, the most common cause of burning feet. This is an agitated depression. Usually the symptoms are most severe at night and cause much discomfort and throwing off of the blanket.Promethazine has been useful.
