Abstract

In the communication "An Unusual Complication of Pacemaker Insertion" by John M. Keshishian, MD (JAMA, Aug 16 issue, p 563) a sentence was omitted which stated that the patient had had breast surgery 13 years earlier, which made "the right side of the chest... not suitable for subcutaneous storage of the pacemaker."
