To make physicians more aware of problems in written communications, we are offering a new workshop in medical writing, a five-day course from Monday, Jan 29, through Friday, Feb 2, 1968. We are particularly pleased to announce the participation of Martin Ware, MD, editor of the British Medical Journal, who will be one of the "faculty" of three.
The course is for physicians only and enrollment will be strictly limited to 12. Since this workshop will center around problems of medical editors as well as writers, we will give first preference to physicians who perform some type of editorial function. As in our previous workshops, we conduct the course through seminar-type meetings, holding three two-hour sessions each day with study assignments to fill in the "spare time." The group will meet at the AMA headquarters in Chicago.
There is no charge for the course other than a nominal $10.00 registration
