To the Editor:—  This route is the least bothersome to the patient post-operatively and gives less artifacts in recording by the nurses. The neck need not be immobilized as often is the case in jugular vein catheterization, and the arm need not be restricted as in basilic or cephalic vein catheterization.In our institution all of the catheterizations are done by or under the careful scrutiny of those well
