Massive Phenobarbital Ingestion With Survival

A routine admission roentgenogram of the chest disclosed the presence of a large mass of tablets in the stomach of a comatose patient, confirming the suspected diagnosis of a drug ingestion. Surgical gastrotomy may be indicated in the management of this problem.
