The recent story about physician's assistants (JAMAMedical News218:1506 [Dec 6] 1971) contained an error in describing the placement of graduates of the various training programs. Most of the 41 graduates listed as not employed in the field had in fact not yet graduated at the time of the survey. This included 30 students in the Duke University program who were scheduled to graduate in September.
